Photos taken of events and places in and around the Roscrea History Conference November 2007.

The first photos are of an ancient manuscript dated to about 1180AD which is held at the library of Mount St. Joseph Abbey, Roscrea. In order to facilitate the viewing of the manuscript these photos are in 7 mega pixel resolution and require a broadband connection to view in full resolution (by clicking on photo in viewer). The rest of the photos are reduced in size and optimised for screen display.

A Medieval history conference is held twice yearly in Roscrea, County Tipperary and is hosted by the Cistercian order in Mount St. Joseph's Abbey.

The first annual international history intervarsity took place at Ollscoil na hÉireann, Gaillimh in March 2007.
Students from the universities of Mainz (An Ghearmáin) and Trento (An Iodáil) were in attendance. Most of the focus was on developing a framework on which to expand the grouping as more universities are invited to join. This new initiative of the Cumann Staire. As part of this Intervarsity, students were given guided tours of sites of historical significance. This album comprises photos from the tour of Connemara and of our visiting students enjoying the social life that Galway is famed for.
